Public Notices

The Saguache County Clerk's office will be renewing valid Colorado Driver's licenses and ID's on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. In order to be in compliance with the Federal Real ID ACT, all applicants will now need one document to prove their residential address. Suggested documents are listed below (each must contain their current address and name):
  •  A bill (utility, cable, phone, etc)
  • Credit card statement
  • Pay  stub or earnings statement
  • Rent receipt
  • Transcript or report card from an accredited school
  • Bank statement
  • Mortgage document
  • Tax document
  • Homeowner's/renter's insurance policy
  • Vehicle registration
If you need a Colorado driver's license or ID or if you have issues with your current driver's license you will need to contact a full service office. Either Salida Driver's license @ 719-539-2802 or Alamosa Driver's license @ 719-589-4274.
